Chapter 5: Strategies for Marketing, Sales and Promotion

1. Who said web presence is not important? Just look at the Guinness' month-long campaign on the so called Adam King. But who grabs the headlines? Josh Lim, a web designer who first registered the www.whoisadamking.com (or view it here the real mccoy) .. and leaving Guinness furious and asking him to withdraw for multiple breaches: trademark violation, impersonation, fraud and etc. And the real one is on the nonsense web address - www.malaysia.net/adamking? (or see it here). So, who says registering for IP address/domain name (hence a web presence) for a trademark such as that  is not an utmost importance?   (new - uploaded 20 July 2002)
